Ore. woman pleas to reduced charges in baby case

<div id="subtitle">Oregon woman accused of trying to take baby from hospital pleads no contest to other charges</div><div><p>An Oregon woman who was investigated for allegedly trying to take a baby from a hospital has pleaded no contest to initiating a false report and second-degree custodial interference.</p><p>Linn County Senior Deputy Attorney Deann Novotny says 25-year-old Trinity Hanley Louise Hernandez of Albany entered the plea Monday in Circuit Court. Novotny says that as part of a plea negotiation, remaining charges of attempted kidnapping, disorderly conduct and criminal mischief are to be dropped when Hernandez is sentenced next Tuesday.</p><p>Hernandez was arrested in October after employees at Samaritan Albany General Hospital called police to say she was acting strangely.
